Key tag with the inbuilt RFID microchip and the areal is the basis of IML security system. It is almost impossible to damage it because the most modern materials and technology is used in its creation.

Only after it has been completely assembled and tested, a security code is programmed, and suits a specific valve. For each IML set there are three key tags, without any of them is impossible to deactivate protection.

The key tags cannot be made afterwards by order, nor is it possible to duplicate them. Even we - the producers - cannot do the copying, nor can it be done by unauthorised persons. A lost key tag is a potential danger for the car security, so it should be kept safely.

If all three key tags are lost, a new valve will have to be installed into the engine.

The key tag is of a passive type, it doesn`t have a battery, but it is fed by electromagnetic field of the reader mounted close to the steering wheel lock. Its term of use is limitless.
